Abstract

|
Benign osteoblastoma is a rare bone tumor. Its occurrence in the temporal bone is extremely rare. We report a temporal bone lesion in a 25-year-old female. Plain radiography showed an amorphous calcified mass with a thin radiolucent marginal zone. Computed tomography revealed a heavily ossified lesion. Magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated a mass of low intensity on T1-weighted image and rim-like enhancement at the peripheral portion of the ossified matrix on enhanced T1-weighted images.
